YOGA FOR KIDS
In TRIBU we consider children a vital part of the tribe. Our duty is to provide them tools for enjoyment, creativity, self awareness, social skills, a sense of community, and sustainability - doing so by introducing them to a fun way to explore their own bodies.
Yoga and Breathwork teach the interconnection between the body and mind, and show us first hand the benefits of our self awareness. Children are engaged, focused and having fun while doing these practices - they are in the present moment. When children practice yoga it increases their confidence, builds concentration and strengthens growing bodies.
Young children respond positively to Breathwork games which will help them to build a strong breathing awareness . These simple techniques help the child bring their awareness inside, creating a grounded feeling which will provide them with mechanisms for self-regulation.
